The Eppendorf epMotion® series is an automated liquid handling solution developed to simplify pipetting tasks in laboratory settings. Designed with a strong emphasis on usability, the device range promotes & streamlines efficient workflows.
One standout feature is the assisted vertical sliding door, an intuitive design element enabling users to effortlessly access the entire workspace.
The inclusion of a convenient pull-out drawer, seamlessly integrated into the front area with the silver metal belt, serves as a quick waste disposal solution for pipette tips and other disposables.
To further enhance usability, the epMotion features a prominent LED light line that acts as a status indicator and allows for minimal user intervention.
With the aim of focusing on the needs of users, we embarked on a journey to modernize Eppendorf’s product portfolio & visual identity, aligning it with the core attributes that define their devices: precision, high quality and clarity.
A reduced and minimalistic set of shapes and clean lines conveys a feeling of deliberate simplicity, evoking a sense of ease of use, precision and technical proficiency. This perfectly symbolizes Eppendorf's brand values.
The introduction of a distinctive silver "metal" belt encircling the devices accentuates their exceptional quality and robustness and serves as a visual testament to Eppendorf's unwavering dedication to delivering products of the highest caliber.
In harmony with the products' design evolution, a fresh color scheme has been embraced, with winter white taking center stage. This choice reflects clarity and elegance, creating a visual language that embodies purity and a refined aesthetic.
